Some moves are driven by urgency. Jeff and Laura’s was driven by possibility.
We first met years ago when they bought a gorgeous Victorian in the Baker / West Wash Park pocket during the height of COVID. Since then, life has changed in the best possible way. They welcomed a sweet little boy and started dreaming about more space, more convenience and more of that built in community feel. They did not have to move. They got to move.
So we treated this search like a slow, intentional adventure. Over the course of about a year and a half, we toured 33 homes together. We did discovery days from Centennial to Highlands Ranch, Littleton to Lakewood and everywhere in between, paying attention to what lit them up and what absolutely did not. The goal was never just “buy another house.” The goal was to find the place that felt like the right next chapter.
That home ended up being in Solterra, tucked by the Green Mountain area with sweeping mountain views that Laura had been dreaming of. Inside, the layout checked every box for Jeff: functional main level, dedicated office space and a basement that could grow with their family through toddler years, sleepovers and beyond!
The house itself is beautiful, and the community around it is just as special. Pools, neighborhood events, and a real sense of people showing up for one another made it feel like exactly the kind of environment they wanted for their son as he grows.
Helping Jeff and Laura buy this home was extra meaningful for me. Being invited back to guide clients through a second move is truly the greatest compliment an agent can receive. It means the trust, the strategy and the care from the first experience stayed with them!
If you are in that same “we do not have to move, we get to move” season and you are curious what might be possible for your next chapter, I would love to explore it with you!
