5 Things Worth Getting Off Your Couch For in Denver This Weekend

Denver has a way of stacking its best weekends right on top of each other, and the last weekend of June is proof. Whether you're looking for something free and festive, something outdoorsy, or something you'll be talking about for the rest of the summer, there's a reason to get outside every single day from now through Sunday.
Here's what's on the radar.
1. Widespread Panic at Red Rocks (June 26–28)
Three nights. Widespread Panic. Red Rocks. If you've never seen a full weekend run at Red Rocks, this is the kind of lineup that makes it make sense. Friday night energy, Saturday night magic, Sunday night something you'll remember. Tickets at redrocksonline.com. Visitdenver
2. Denver PrideFest (June 27–28)
PrideFest returns to the 16th Street area for its annual celebration, welcoming and inclusive and genuinely fun for everyone. 4. Troutfest Colorado at Coors Field (June 27)
This one is free and it's genuinely cool. Colorado Trout Unlimited takes over Coors Field for a full day of fishing clinics, fly tying, casting demos, live music, and conservation education. 5. Final Friday on South Pearl (June 27)
South Pearl's Final Friday series kicks off its summer season on June 27, turning the neighborhood into a full street event. It's free, it's walkable, and it's the kind of evening that reminds you exactly why people fight to live in the neighborhoods along South Pearl. If you haven't spent a summer evening down there, this is your excuse. The Scout Guide
One more worth knowing about
Chris Brown and Usher are bringing the R&B Tour to Empower Field at Mile High on Friday, June 26. If that's your thing, it's a big one. Visitdenver
Denver in late June is firing on all cylinders. Pick one thing, go do it, and let the weekend take care of the rest. And if any of the neighborhoods these events are happening in have you thinking about what it would be like to actually live nearby, that's always a conversation worth having.
