Joan and George head for the hills. Literally! They felt ready for their next adventure and to be closer to their sweet grandbaby, Jack! So we jumped in the car and headed to Gilpin County to check out a few homes.
They saw two homes, and they knew that one of them was pure gold! And boy, were they right! This charming little mountain cabin might look like nothing now, and when they are done with the renovations, it will be amazing!!!!
When we first toured this home, we knew she had allllllll the potential! The house just needed a little push into 2024, a mini facelift, if you will. It was the views that made this home something special! Looking out past the deck, all you see are the beautiful mountains and trees around it.
With some negotiations, we got the home for $10,000 under asking and another $11,000 in seller credits! It was a sign that this home was meant to be!
And this transaction was so smooth, considering all the hurdles that we had to work through due to a fantastic listing agent. It makes all the difference in the world when you get to work with another amazing professional!
