2024 Colorado Kennel Club, Dog Show
Have you ever watched a dog show on TV? Now is your chance to see one live and cheer for your favorites at the 2024 Colorado Kennel Club Dog Show on February 16, 17 and 18. This is a dog show that is fun for the entire family! While you watch entertaining events all day long there is shopping galore for both you and your dog . Come watch dogs fly off a dock into water while trying to catch their favorite toy mid-air. Want to watch a dog perform with his natural instincts and find a rat? Then you don’t want to miss Barn Hunt. Wish your dog was more ‘obedient’? Come see the obedience and rally dogs perform specific commands by their owner. Have a favorite breed, or want to learn more about a specific breed? This year’s MEET THE BREEDS is Saturday and Sunday, Feb 17-18th. There is something for everyone of every age at this year’s 2024 Colorado Dog Show.
For 2024, thirteen bands create a stellar lineup, including award winning headliners Becky Buller Band, Missy Raines & Allegheny, Frank Sollivan & Dirty Kitchen, Slocan Ramblers, Stillhouse Junkies, Bonnie & Taylor Sims Trio, The Fretliners, The Solar Sisters, The Cody Sisters, Martin Gilmore Trio, Orchard Creek, Tenderfoot, and UNCO Bluegrass Ensemble. Bands play multiple sets over the three-day weekend. Workshops offered will include banjo, guitar, mandolin, and beginner jam.
Mardi Gras in Olde Town Arvada
Step into the festive spirit of Mardi Gras in Olde Town Arvada presented by Quantum Fiber! Join us on Tuesday, February 13th, for a vibrant celebration that brings Mardi Gras right to your neighborhood. Kicking off at 5:00 pm in front of Carly’s Boutique (7401 Grandview Ave), the infectious music of Guerrilla Fanfare will fill the streets of Olde Town.
Sloan’s Lake 80s Prom will be your chance to relive those glory days, while supporting the Sloan’s Lake Park Foundation’s work to save Sloan’s Lake. Our evening will include the best 80s (and maybe some early 90s) music, food and drinks, Photo booth and even a back to the future Delorean for your photo shoots!
