Western Heritage Welcome Cattle Drive

The Western Heritage Welcome Cattle Drive kicks off the celebration and honors a time when large herds of cattle were driven through Downtown Castle Rock. Cowboys and city folk alike are invited to join the celebration from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday, July 28.

Watch as cowhands drive a herd of Texas longhorns from Rock Park, down Perry Street, and into a corral near Festival Park. Residents are invited to grab a spot along Perry Street for the best viewing location. 

The Cheesman Park Art Fest

150 juried artists & craftsmen from across the nation will sell their work in one of Denver’s prized historic parks. From artist demonstrations to live music & food trucks, it’s the perfect way to spend a summer day! Dates / Time: July 22 & 23, 9a-5p. Location: 8th Ave & N. Williams (or) 1599 E. 8th Avenue, Denver CO 80218.

Colorado Dragon Boat Festival

Join us for racing, music, food, and fun at the Colorado Dragon Boat Festival!

Downtown Denver Public Art Walking Tour

Join Denver Public Art on a leisurely walk around Downtown Denver and learn about some of Denver’s most unique, eccentric public artworks. Why do the sidewalks sing? Why are there hubcaps on the old police station building? Why is the Big Blue Bear blue? And much more!

The tour will last approximately 1 hour. Tour participants will meet at the Botero sculptures, “Man” and “Woman” on the Denver Performing Arts Complex Galleria near 14th and Curtis streets. Sunday tours will be led by Rudi Cerri, Public Art Program Manager. Wednesday tours will be led by Megan Deffner, Public Art Program Administrator.

Vinyasa, Violins and Vino

Yoga with a twist. Enjoy vinyasa yoga, live violin music and a picnic! Relax in nature as Blake Burger, certified instructor and Gardens horticulturist, leads an hour-long class in the Gardens. Conclude the evening with a bring your own picnic and performance by violinist Brittany Erickson. BYOB wine and beer is permitted.

Lowry Block Party

Our annual block party is making its way to Lowry! Join us as we celebrate our beloved Lowry community. We’re celebrating all things Colorado with our amazing outdoor lifestyle, good peeps, good food, and of course, good beer! 

With 40+ makers market vendors, live music, beer specials, and more, the good times and good brews will be flowing all day long! 

This event is open to all ages, furry friends and it’s FREE! So mark your calendars and be ready for a full day of Colorado fun!
