Ok, I can’t wait to share Kaila and Juan’s home-buying story because it’s so damn good! These two amazing folks were referred to me by a dear friend and Realtor in Summit County. We go back, like to the admin days together, so when I got the call that some good friends of hers were looking to buy their first home, I was honored to help!
Kaila and Juan, both Colorado locals, were ready to put down their forever roots and buy their first home! So we met up on a sunny morning to start the search, and I knew right away these two would be fun to work with! Kaila has this energy that makes you want to smile. We entered the market on the tail end of the crazy spring market. We were still up against multiple offers, massive appraisal gaps, and all the wild contract stuff. But I was built for a challenge, so we geared up and were ready to take on the market!
They found this super cute Barnum house that was beyond perfect for them. We wrote a great offer, nothing too crazy, and then waited. While waiting, the sellers went with another cash offer and decided to move forward with them instead. It was a crushing blow, but writing one offer and getting your first one accepted in Denver was not the norm. I told them everything happens for a reason, and it was upward and onward! Then I got a call a week later that the cash buyers were terminating, and the agent reached out to see if we were still interested. Heck yes we were!
So we rewrote the offer, no appraisal gap, full inspection, and got it! As we rocked through the process, including a massive seller credit for inspection, we made it to closing., This house was truly meant to be with my folks. Every inch of the transaction was calm and easy, Truly a refreshing situation from what we saw just a few months earlier.
I could not be more excited or happy for these two! They deserve nothing but happy memories and that massive backyard for their pup!
