Join artist Grace Noel in her studio for a special paint pouring class that is inspired by the magic that you are! Patterns, and harmonies surround us in the natural world from the parallel blades of grass in the park to the round pebbles in the river. Using plants and rocks we’ll experiment with these geometries and colors creating our own temporary outdoor installations and have paper mandalas for you to color and take home.
This July and August we’ll be getting outside to make a host of unconventional and totally cool interactive objects together, from building art cars to making needlepoint graffiti. Workshops are free with all supplies included, but you will need to pre-register. Kids, teens and their adult friends are all encouraged to participate with individual and group projects. Pets welcome, and snacks and drinks will be available if you don’t want to bring your own!
