Because sometimes your weekend plans should just be peaches and fresh baguettes.
You know I love sharing what’s happening around town—usually it’s a buzzy event or a neighborhood favorite. But this month, we’re slowing things down (in the best way) and diving into something that makes spring and summer in Denver feel just right… farmers market season.
Whether you’re on the hunt for Palisade peaches, sipping a lavender latte while listening to live music, or letting your toddler pet every dog in sight (hi, it’s me), there’s a market for that. And lucky for us, Denver has a lot of them.
Here’s your go-to lineup for the best farmers markets around town in 2025:
🌿 Saturday Markets
🧺 City Park Farmers Market
📍 2551 E. Colfax Ave., Denver (right by East High School)
🗓 Saturdays | May 3 – October 26 | 8am–1pm
City Park is my go-to for a reason. It’s super community-focused, packed with local goodies (hi, fresh focaccia), live music, and even composting stations. A good morning spot if you want to grab a coffee and stroll.
🥕 Cherry Creek Fresh Market
📍 Cherry Creek Shopping Center (east side)
🗓 Saturdays | May 4 – October 12 | 9am–2pm
It’s a Denver classic—expect peaches, local meats, flowers, and a few fancy pastries that you’ll pretend are for later. (But let’s be honest.)
🌻 Golden Farmers Market
📍 10th & Illinois St., Golden
🗓 Saturdays | May 31 – October 4 | 8am–1pm
Golden’s market is the cutest little main-street moment—perfect if you’re up for a mini day trip and want to support local artisans too.
🍞 University Hills Farmers Market
📍 2999 S. Colorado Blvd., Denver
🗓 Saturdays | May 10 – October 25 | 9am–1pm
New location, same charm. Lots of food vendors and small-batch finds here.
🌞 Sunday Markets
🍑 South Pearl Street Farmers Market
📍 1400–1500 S. Pearl St., Denver
🗓 Sundays | May 4 – November 9 | 9am–1pm
If I had to pick a favorite, this might be it. The block is closed off, the energy is unmatched, and everything is hyper-local. Get there early for the best croissants.
🎶 Highlands Square Market
📍 32nd & Lowell, Denver
🗓 Sundays | May 18 – October 12 | 9am–1pm
Live music, friendly faces, and great shopping in one of the best walkable neighborhoods.
🐝 Arvada Farmers Market
📍 5702 Olde Wadsworth Blvd., Arvada
🗓 Sundays | June 1 – September 28 | 11am–3pm
If you’re out this way, definitely swing by. It’s smaller but full of personality—and parking is easy.
🍓 Parker Farmers Market
📍 19565 E. Mainstreet, Parker
🗓 Sundays | May 11 – October 26 | 8am–1pm
This one’s a biggie, with 100+ vendors. Bring your appetite and your walking shoes.
☀️ Weekday Markets
🍅 Green Valley Ranch Farmers Market
📍 4890 Argonne St., Denver
🗓 Wednesdays | June 4 – August 27 | 5pm–8pm
Perfect for post-work produce runs—plus dinner from a food truck never hurt.
🌽 Erie Farmers Market
📍 Briggs St. between Wells & Moffatt
🗓 Thursdays | May 15 – September 18 | 5pm–8pm
A sweet little evening market if you’re north of the city.
Market Tips (From Someone Who’s Made All the Mistakes)
BYO tote bag (and maybe a cooler if you're stocking up on eggs or cheese)
Get there early if you want the good peaches
Hydrate—even if you're just "browsing"
Support local—every dollar goes to someone growing or creating with heart
Leave room for a pastry (trust me)
Denver’s farmers markets are basically my love language: good food, good people, and a strong community vibe. If you need a buddy to go market-hopping with this season, you know where to find me.
