It was a hot summer in Denver, both for pets and humans! A fun and yummy treat I made Nellie was watermelon pupsicles. They are so easy and she LOVED them.
What You Need:
1 watermelon
A blender
Ice cube trays
Cut the watermelon into smaller pieces. I used my ninja blender and added the watermelon with some water. Pureed the watermelon and water together. Left it a little chunky so my dog would have something to work through. Put in ice cube trays and freeze over night. 1 watermelon goes a LONG way. I made several batches. I would freeze them and save in a plastic bag in the freezer.
Bonus, they are also super yummy in cocktails and sparkling water! Cheers and have fun!
