Meet Mary! We had connected at a “You’re Paying How Much For Rent” event. We Zoomed after the class back in September, where I got to hear about all the fantastic things going on. She was living the apartment life with her pup and was ready to start the conversation about owning her first home.
We chatted about the Denver market, what she wanted, and things she didn’t want in her first home! Once we got her financing nailed down, she was ready to hit the home search.
She texted me early in the afternoon about the most charming house in Valverde. It was PERFECT!!! We are talking, this house was MEANT for Mary. We met up on a chilly afternoon to check it out. It was real estate love at first sight. We are talking about a massive backyard for her dog, the cutest updated kitchen, and all the space she wanted—nothing too big, but nothing too small.
We literally looked at one house, wrote one offer at the asking price, and got it accepted! The inspection process was a dream. The seller took care of all the concerns we had. So when I say the right house is out there for you, it couldn’t be more true for her.
The entire process was one of the easiest transactions I have ever had. It was the total dream team between a super kind seller, an awesome listing agent, and a great buyer!
Don’t let this market scare you. There are great homes out there!! I couldn’t be happier for Mary, and I can’t wait to see how she makes it her own!
